I Had Not Realized How Much Was Involved

The history of the bicycle is truly amazing. I had not realized how much was involved, nor appreciated it so much until I read “Myth and Milestones in Bicycle Evolution” by William Hudson. This well written and concise history of the bicycle was a real eye opener. I had no idea that there were so many people involved and so much controversy. In my quest to find quality vintage bicycle posters to re-paint as an artist, I have come to appreciate more the rich heritage involved in this, what I once thought simple invention.
